Narrative of Spider and the Daughter of the Widow

Told by Henry Tate and rewritten by William Beynon.

This narrative is about the spider who married a widow’s daughter. Food was scarce and the spider taught her how to weave a net out of nettle fibre. They soon had lots of food they shared with others in the village. Sound recording with Velna Nelson.
